About Us

Who is our Pastor?

The Reverend Carroll Moore leads our congregation in faithful living and community service.

Carroll lives in Nottingham, N.H. with his wife Lora of 50 years. They are blessed with three grown sons and with three grandchildren. Their sons live in Bend, Oregon, Andover, N.H., and Meredith, N.H. Our pastor is serving our church and the Raymond UMC part time having been asked to take over the churches three months into his retirement in 2010, after 45 years of pastoral ministry in Michigan, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. He was pastor in Littleton (9 yrs.) and Hampton (15 yrs.) when he retired. Carroll was born and lived his growing up years in Vermont, graduated from Michigan State University and from Boston University where he received his seminary education. He has done additional degrees from B.U. He has had a passion for pastoral ministry with particular love of preaching and the use of story. Recently he received professional certification in Spiritual Formation in The United Methodist Church, which has nurtured his gift in providing spiritual direction for people. Over the years he has felt blessed to serve the churches and with others serve his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Pastor Moore can be reached directly by phone at 603-734-2934 or by e-mail at carrollcmoore@gmail.com.

What do we believe as Methodists?

We use both the Old Testament and New Testament as the foundation for our faith and the inspiration for our daily lives. We put those teachings into practice at home and at work.

At North Salem UMC, it's our mission to help you explore your relationship with God and improve those meaningful relationships in your family life. Join us each Sunday and experience the warmth of faith and the strength of our community.
